Just as you thought you've found yur bearings and skimming the surface of the waves, lapping against the sturdy hull of your boat, a rock lies hidden just beneath and scrapes a spread of paint off your bow.

As waters starts to pour in, you are lucky to find that shore is just a swim away. So you jump into the water and pull your stricken boat along to shore. A jellyfish drifts lazily in the clear blue water so seemingly harmless it looks. But as you swim, it seems to get closer and in one wave the jellyfish is next to you stroking your thigh as it drifts past. A sharp sting penetrates your skin as you obviously been stung pretty bad...

Slowly swimming in pain to shore... you are almost there, so much so you didnt notice the sharp jagged stone in the water and it mercilessly rips at your flesh. The sensation of pain accompanied by the warmth of hot blood jolts your physical form drain from a long swim and unfortunate sting.

You clamber onto the sandy beach, the sun is high in the clear blue sky, pretty girls are sunbathing and frolicking in the waves and guys ever so handsome and caring are holding hands with the girls. Not a single smile is left unplaced in the picture, even the old granny practicing tai-chi is smiling for god knows reasons. The child had lost his pocket money but his mother had bought him an ice cream cone of gigantic proportions and he was licking away a smile imprinted on the pudgy face still full of baby fat.

The question is... Do you feel like the world sucks?

I mean when everyone is obviously in the moment, smiles of genuine bliss, here you are, trying your best not to faint from exhaustion, all alone laying splayed on the beach in pain, agony riddled all over your face.

A fate you have tread on seems to like its slow torture of you as a big wave washes over you and in surprise, you catch a free wash of salt up your nose and into your mouth.

Watering from your eyes you feel ready to collapse into delirium when you spot a shiny gleam in the sand in front of you. Brushing away the white sand you rest your hands on a sparkly shell, a beauty of nature seemingly polished by the gods themselves. You cradle the shell, a blessing at last!!!

Just then the girl you have a crush on walks up to you and offers a helping hand, the sweetest of smiles across her face and as you reach out you hear the clear voice which you suspect are the angel's own asking "Ni Hai Hao Ma???" in deep concern...

And now you know the answer to the question, do you feel the world sucks?

As you look up to reply, you see a figure behind her, you notice her other hand rest on this figure who turns out to be a guy.

You feel he would go to the ends of the world for her and gave her whatever there is to give... in his shadow you are but a puny ass with a seashell as pathetic company, while he is a great dancer entertaining everyone with his smart wit and good humour. Maybe if you look hard enough you could see his smile too, the face of near perfection, unblemished as much as his heart. Would she choose you over him?

Do you, I repeat, do you... feel the world sucks?
